Protecting Our Energy!

We have a constant worry about the mortgage or rent, a healthy body, children, marriage, saving money, spending money, taking trips, and just life events each day. In today’s world, stress is everywhere. Whether it comes from social media, work, school, relationships, or family, we are constantly attacked with information and demands. This constant onslaught of incitements makes it tough to focus on anything else. Hence, when we don’t take time to relax and unwind, it often results in burnout and exhaustion.

But most often, we get caught up in the go-go-go of everyday life and forget to check in with ourselves. As a result, we miss the life that is happening right now. If we spend our days thinking about all the things, we don’t like about ourselves or our lives, or our daily stresses, we’ll never feel peaceful. Modern psychology has demonstrated that people are more sensitive to negative experiences.

I want you to know that a relaxed and calm outlook can help you navigate life’s often-turbulent waters more smoothly. Feeling at peace internally can boost overall contentment and feelings of happiness, regardless of the challenges you face. You might assume you can only find peace from within when you’re finally completely free of troubles, but that’s not the case. In a frantic world, a peaceful mind might seem like a friend you rarely have the chance to catch up with. But finding peace of mind is possible.

Calm, compassion, and deep awareness are within each person. It’s as if we have a deep tank of peacefulness and composure inside us. What we must discover to do is tap into it. Try something simple as breathing in and out. Close your mouth and inhale through your nose as you count to four. Hold onto that breath as you count to seven, and then exhale through your mouth for the count of eight. A basic way to stimulate your nervous system is to allow your body to respond to relaxing. Inner peace is within, and you do not need a quiet place or to pay for meditation to find it. Little calming practices can provide you with ways to be at peace and keep a calm composure under stressful situations.

Right, when you are in a situation like heavy traffic, and you can not believe it, you're late for something, and you're feeling stressed. Simply, stop plunge into your heart space, and say, this is what I've got. This is where I am. I'm just going to flow with this. And I'm going to take an opportunity now to just practice patience, and practice self-compassion.
