Living Thankful 365 Days
As we near the end of 2022, let us reflect on living a thankful life 365 days a year. We can start now to prepare our hearts and minds for living thankful and with gratitude in 2023. Being grateful reminds us of what is important in our lives. It’s difficult to grumble about the little things when you give thanks that your loved ones are alive and healthy. It’s hard to get stressed out over paying bills when you are grateful there is a roof over your head. In positive psychology research, gratitude is strongly and consistently associated with greater happiness. Gratitude is a thankful appreciation for what an individual accepts, either tangible or intangible. With gratitude, people recognize the goodness in their lives. People usually trust that the source of that goodness lies at least partially outside themselves.
